Tour the “Undiscovered Chinatown” To Uncover History, Treasures, and Great Shopping

Los Angeles, CA, January 2, 2008 – Visit a temple, an herb shop, art galleries, antique stores, and more when guided to the unique treasures--not to mention great bargains--to be found in Chinatown. The 2½-hour walking tour takes visitors to off-the-beaten-track points of interest, with tidbits of culture shared along the way. Those interested in shopping are guided to some of Chinatown’s best bargains and trendiest shops. Great hole-in-the-wall noodle shops and other interesting Chinatown eateries are also pointed out. See why Chinatown is now touted by Sunset and Los Angeles magazines as one of the hottest destinations for urban adventurers! Wear comfortable walking shoes and be prepared to wind your way through a myriad of alleyways, plaza stalls, and classical courtyards to discover the charm of L.A.’s Chinatown.

The tour runs $20 per person and group size is limited. Upcoming tours will take place from 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on the following Saturdays in 2008: January 5, February 2, March 1, April 5, May 3, June 7, July 12, August 2, September 6, October 4, November 1, and December 6.
